12-9 Months Before Wedding
ü Announce the engagement in newspapers.
ü Arrange for the parents to meet (if necessary).
ü Set the budget.
ü Buy a wedding notebook or organiser.
ü Set up a filing system for details and receipts.
ü Choose the wedding date.
ü Purchase wedding insurance.
ü Draw up a guest list.
ü Decide whether children are to be invited.
ü Decide on the type of ceremony: religious or civil.
ü Meet religious minister/registrar to discuss wedding
ceremony.

ü Investigate photographers; an engagement photo can be taken
at this point.
ü Look into entertainment for the wedding reception.

ü Make appointments to try on wedding dresses.
ü Look into florists and check seasonal flowers.
ü Look into honeymoon ideas and destinations.
ü Book time off work for the wedding and honeymoon.
